PR Intern at Highlights for Children

The PR Intern will help develop and implement a communications plan for the annual Highlights State of the Kid survey. He/she will work with the Highlights' PR manager to respond to media requests, write and edit press materials, research media outlets, manage a press event and participate in strategy meetings. The successful candidate will leave with published work for his/her portfolio, experience working with national media and a first-hand look at the world of print publishing.

Prefer 3rd or 4th year student studying a liberal arts or Communications and interested in public relations work. Candidate possesses strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrates good interpersonal skills. 16 hours per week. Scheduling flexible. This is a paid internship.

This is a Part-time internship offered for a term of 3 to 4 Months
